Post Gold Coast Celebration
Formal Dinner
7pm - 11pm 16th of July
You trained
well, braved the chilly winter mornings and applied yourself
in either the 10k, Half Marathon or Marathon at the Gold Coast.
Now for the celebration. This will be held at Brisbane's Ship Inn,
South Bank, on
Saturday the 16th of July (two weeks after Gold Coast). The
dinner will be on the upper level function
room and balcony area.
This will be
the ultimate way to put a close to your 2005 Gold Coast campaign
and celebrate with fellow group members. Imagine
standing on the verandah at the dinner with a relaxing drink, looking down at where we
met for 15 weeks, rain/hail or shine.
Maybe your
spouse/partner/friend supported you throughout this period and
it is hoped that she/he will be joining in this celebration.
The dinner is
open to anyone so if you were unable to join us at the group
sessions you are more than welcome to come along and celebrate.
This will also
be the first showing of the slide show containing photos taken
of the group throughout the campaign and also the announcement
of the runner who received the most group award nominations.
There will be a
trivia quiz or two and prizes to be won.
For
entertainment there will be a DJ with a video screen so we can
relive all of those great 80's and 90's clips throughout the
night.

The cost of the
dinner is $50 per person which includes homemade dips and breads
(served on the balcony on arrival), main meal and
desert.
Drinks will be at your own expense.
Dress code: Formal
