I work as, well I wish I didn’t so I
am in the search for a ‘sugar daddy’, in the meantime I am a
Nutrition Adviser for Nestle. I live in a unit in
Spring Hill with my new 106cm Plasma TV, I have replaced the
need for a man with a plasma. I love it! have lived in
Brisbane since Sydney became too small of a place for me
and my ex- husband, that would have been October 2003 and
joined the Pat Carroll running group in October just this
year when I decided I was getting a bit over myself and was
becoming a boring running partner!
My favourite restaurant is Monsoon @
Fortitude Valley, they do the best Chicken Pad Thai and for
very special people they will do takeaway!
My earliest childhood memory is
having to have leg irons (yes, like Forest Gump). That is the
reason why I run a bit funny (so I have been told).
Adult pole dancing is a hazard, not
only to yourself but to others. I recently attempted a class
and I now have a newfound respect for those pole- dancing
girls!
My favourite movie is anything from
a good chick flick like Thelma and Louise to action movies
like the Terminator, anything is great when you are watching
it on a plasma!
Brisbane City is an amazing place
because did you know that it was a harsh penal colony that was
established in July 1825 by the order of the then Governor of
NSW, Sir Thomas Brisbane and had a reputation of being the
most cruel in the colony. (it’s amazing what you find out when
you enter ‘Search:Brisbane city’)
My regular holiday destination is
anywhere where there is a beach, food, wine and no kids (and
usually some silly race).
If money was no option I would not
be sitting here at work trying to think of interesting things
about myself!
It frustrates me when people are
gunna do this and gunna do that and never do!
I have been involved in running since
1994 and my most memorable running experience is,
well it was more of a triathlon experience, winning the best
‘butt’ award at Forster Ironman 1999. Looks great on my C.V!
I enjoy distance running because I
just do! It’s like when someone asks you why do you do it –
it’s because I can.
My favourite run is Mt Cootha,
especially when you pass cyclists and or mountain bike riders
on the way up. It’s great for the ego!
Motivation is something that you
can’t get from reading a book!
Injuries are things that should
happen to other people. I become a bit of a nasty bastard and
want to get out my baseball bat and hit their knees so they
can’t run too, very harsh thoughts – but at the time I think
very fair!
When a male friend slapped me on the butt
and it wobbled from side to side was a turning point in my
life because I realised I had a big arse and it was time
to do something about it!
The Pat Carroll running group are
quite a nice bunch of people I would have to say.
I prefer running in the morning
because I prefer drinking in the afternoon!
Running is not difficult
unless you convince yourself otherwise!
The best advice my friend (who just
found out he is a dad through a paternity test) gave me
was to always wear a condom!
My orthopaedic surgeon inspires me
cause he told me when I was in leg irons that I would never be
able to do any sport due to my biomechanics – first Ironman
triathlon I did, my mum sent him an article from the paper –
silly old man! I will never regret opening my farewell
present in front of 80 work colleagues and managers when I
worked for Boral Concrete. It was a black vibrator!
