Never become complacent about being injury free. Always be on the lookout and remain in tune with your body. Rest/Ice/Stretching/Treatment = an ongoing maintenance program which can help prevent you from being sidelined for weeks, months even.
It may beneficial to have a monthly check-up with a sports physiotherapist. Addressing structural alignment (hips) in the majority of runners requires ongoing correction.
A massage every couple of weeks will also help you stay injury free.

Simon deals mainly with overuse injuries especially tendons via radial shockwave therapy (RSWT). Generally involving three treatments and in most cases a return to running and/or training in 4-6 weeks. This is a very simple treatment with minimal if any side-effects and a relative early return to training compared with other tendon treatments e.g. eccentric rehabilitation. It compares very favourably with injection therapy such as blood, platelets and cortisone. This is mainly because it now has the runs on the board as an effective proven therapy for tendons.
